This is the case that Clinton Daniel, then-doctoral student of Janis Gogan, NACRA Past President and Fellow,
presented at a NACRA conference and won a Best Student Case award at NACRA. Afterwards, this field-researched case and IM were revised and submitted to NACRA’s Case Research Journal: now we are thrilled that this is not “just” a CRJ best-seller; it’s an HBS best-seller.
It’s also an example of a case authored by a first-year doctoral student. Clinton’s DBA alma-mater is the University of South Florida Muma College of Business. Not coincidentally, this is where our 2024 conference keynote speaker, Grandon Gill, comes from (see our announcement here https://nacra.net/2024-conference-keynote-speaker-t-grandon-gill/ ).
Now on the Muma faculty, Clinton Daniel has also served as NACRA track chair for Digital Technologies and Operations https://nacra.net/conference/conference-tracks/ . He continues to write and present cases on strategic IT topics. Our big congratulations to Clinton Daniel for much deserved success!
